I doubt that - I've just always struggled with blue/packing/unpacking.

I think "obsessive" might be a better way to put it in my case! My coding is the only aspect of my life where I do have any discipline. If you could teach me how to remember to wash, change my clothes, eat, drink, and sleep more regularly than "procrastinate about it later once that new feature is passing its unit tests", then I might consider a trade!

Love your sense of humor, Trog!
@Kevin, maybe Trog's wonderful Mono4 debug tools could help?

I'm sure the bug is in my brain, not in Mono 4

I’ve made a little schematic with notes inside that might help…

Thoughtful fellow that you are - thanks for that. Not sure it will help me understand what the devil is going on inside Randy though. :?

Is it wrong to create an emulation of a legacy product if you don't profit from it? I mean, I own many legacy keyboards including the korg DW8000 from 1985. It has not been emulated yet that I know of and I kept thinking this one would make perfect sense to emulate through FS. I have so many patch libraries etc and the technical schematics to do it. It uses only 16 basic waveforms with 2 OSC to mix together. It was declared as the first combined Analog and Digital keyboard. So anyways, are we not allowed to do this from a legal standpoint even though it is 35 years old? Sampling patches is a different thing, but hardware for non-profit? You might be thinking why don't I just play the original? I am getting tired of taking apart my legacy keyboards and repairing them. Yes, I repair all of them myself. :)

I simply meant by that that my idea was not to emulate any specific instrument, Korg or otherwise - I was just proposing a combo instrument of that type from Martin's creations. I just mentioned that Korg as an example of many such 'ensemble'-type instruments that came out around that time, and I thought it'd be interesting/useful to make something vaguely similar from some combination of Martin's string synthesis, 'Randy' and possibly his Karplus-Strong device.

I think it’s perfectly fine to create something that is “Inspired by…”
