Searching for everything about MODULAR RACK ENVIROMENT

Postby hardwarehost » Thu Nov 12, 2020 10:58 am

Hi, I am Searching for everything about virtual MODULAR RACK. Can be SM, can be unfinished, etc. Like VCV without modules :D

-cable system
-fullscreen windowing
-set up top menu
-modules mouse drag n drop
-live recorder
.etc etc
Anyone who tries to make one in the past? Everything is welcome...
I dont look at the forum often so i am completly at the beginning of this ,and i want to concentrate more on modules. I know its ALL somewhere in multiple schematics but has to be compiled together.
Thanx for help.

OK so I found drag n drop fx schematic whitch was very old and only vertical. I rebuild it to horizontal and fixed H and W. I dont know who s author but big big thank for that. So its behaving noW like eurorack modules you only click and move to change the order. I ts a fast mash-up... lots of detail tunning needed. It also have bug in x64 version: no ruby knobs turning, only SM-FS like.

I am very grateful to you for this scheme! Thanks!
The only thing I noticed was bad reaction to small standard knobs. although this may be a mistake on my part.

- Added background: modular-a-like doom case
- If you move the grey module its 2D XY now! :o see:

- shadows added on moving

if you wanna fix all the gui "dontfitism brokenstyle" then lets go.

- fixed positions in X, bugging in Y
- shadows now fiting the module
- srews will unmount on mouse move "unmounting from rack effect"

It gets even better! Excellent! with the handles, everything was fine, as you said. Only the green module, when dragged, does not behave like everyone else. All modules can be moved in any direction when dragging. Green only some middle position (to the side and up at the same time)

it is ok now - only a few gui issues still

- number of modules - now six
- bypass on movig mouse Ldown under the bottom line
- Menu for selecting the whatever schematic with gui size 160 x 400, now from 18x list NOT PLUGED YET its taken from Ernst preset manager for future slider... if over gui
- menu/bypass state is movible as others
- whole "physics" got the logic now via shadows reaction on behaviour of user

Hi, if you mean with friezes freeze-like-effect then put the redraw module with ticker100 in: Effects Chainer / M OViG MODUle / RACK and plug it with that bitmap. The major of this, is gone. The rest is not so disturbing while dragging to me - only happens in fast moves

Wrote if you mean something else or mean to change something [quote="StereoSpace" while dragging [/quote]

tip-top GUI dragging here need other mouse module with value changes ticker that will make more frames "fps"
