Learn FlowStone in five days!
As an active forum member I get regular requests on the best ways to learn FlowStone, so I thought I’d make a quick post to help newbies get started.
1) Register & download the FREE version and install it on your PC.
2) Make the Tool Box Filters visible – these help beginners find the modules they are looking for ( View – Filter Groups)
3) Go through the in built Tutorial (Help – Tutorial – Open)
4) Open the Tutorial source code files (Help – Tutorial – Show Schematic Files) – there are Tutorials 1 to 5 showing the steps used to build the tutorial.
5) Make the EXE from the Tutorial - New users get a few PAYG credits to test the make EXE function – There is nothing like making your first app. to show the power of FlowStone.
6) Yes - Read the User Guide and Component Reference Guide (Help – User Guide or Component Reference). Information is often concealed in books!
7) Download some of the 100’s of example projects – these are one of the fastest ways to learn FlowStone and have been created to show you how to do a wide variety of things :
