Crashing in FL Studio (autosave) :(

Postby Perfect Human Interface » Sun Mar 29, 2015 11:35 am

Been working on a big synth project for some time now. Tonight, my schematic has started crashing FL Studio on me, and fairly consistently. It's not from any specific action, but rather it appears to crash when FL autosave's the project. And not on every autosave but maybe like the second or third time (I have FL set to autosave every 5 minutes). Up until now I could tell whenever it autosaves because the project hangs for a half second. I just figured since it's a big flowstone project it takes a bit to save everything. Now I suspect and fear this may just be due to the sheer size/complexity of the project that's causing it to crash. I don't know what else I could have done to make it start crashing. I added a few de-zippers... a couple of other very minor tweaks... And now it's like this. It's as if I reached a critical mass of components in my schematic that tipped it over the edge of failure or something. Not that I can say for sure.

Has anyone else encountered crashes like this using Flowstone in FL Studio?

I'm using FL 11.1.0 and Flowstone 3.0.4 for what it's worth.

Edit: it seems to only cause a crash when the synth is playing. It hasn't crashed when FL is just sitting idle.
