Is it possible to make a fake unison?

i mean sylenth 1 have 30 x unison or something. It sounds impossible if u look spire.
There must be a way so it sounds like up to 8 voices without real unison and nearly get the same effect. Something with chorus or sopmething.
? anone knows any ideas or trix or how to make real unison 8 voices with low cpu?
