Creating a "Smart" Label?
Hi there,
I'm trying to create a label for an animated knob, which is controlling a multi-oscillator.
I'd like the label to change based on the 5 steps of a knob (or the type of waveform).
I have taken the output of the max/min module of the animated knob component, giving me values 0 - 4.
I have wirelessly connected this to the module which deals with the knob's label found within the interaction module. The input value is routed to a selector with the names of the 5 possible waveforms as inputs. The output of the selector is then connected to the "text" input of the Text Draw component.
This all works... except that the label does not change immediately. Everything else is working, but after turning the knob, I need to click away from the screen (or refresh it?) before I see the label actually changing.
Do I need to use the ReDraw component to refresh the label? If so, how would I make the change of the selector into a trigger?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You are right. You need a redraw action. You could connect the output of the selector with the redraw prim's trigger input.

That's great. It seems very obvious now. I had tried this initially, but had no luck. It turns out I had the ReDraw primitive connected incorrectly. ^^;
Thanks a lot!
