neither you nor your contributions PHI
i think the question for help was clear, and look what it is now, instead of support there is a lot of useless bla bla how to do it different, why to do it not, why it makes no sense, ..bla bla
From the OP:
tulamide wrote:"Who has experience with releasing stuff at KVR Audio or elsewhere, and would be willing to do some marketing noise at some point?"
tulamide wrote:You want Flowstone to be able to create VST 3 or 64-bit plugins, don't you? Here's your chance to contribute to this goal.
Can you explain how the first quote will lead to the second quote?
I offered thoughts on how both the plugin could be marketed and the stated goals could be achieved. Then my input was called off-topic and now "useless." I don't know what gives.

Re: Calling all plugin publishers!
So, to sum up, it seems that there are a lot of opinions, and of course technical abilities, but nobody on this forum has the experience or willingness to offer the assistance originally requested.
If my perception is correct then what's the way forward?
Cheers

What a blatancy! First, you and others misuse this thread to once again discuss about 64-bit, then you blame me for literally having requested so? Shame on you, PHI!
Here's what I also wrote, and what keeps being ignored (I don't wonder why):
Do you have that experience and do you want to make that noise? This is a simple question, requires not more than "Yes" or "No".tulamide wrote:"Who has experience with releasing stuff at KVR Audio or elsewhere, and would be willing to do some marketing noise at some point?"
Again very clear and simple. See above.tulamide wrote:So, read the line in bold - and then help us out
Silly, it's again a straight forward question, nobody can misunderstand. Will you? "Yes" or "No".tulamide wrote:and I still hope to find someone that says: "Yes, it's worth it. I'll do the marketing."
Wow, so clear and understandable. Still, ignored.tulamide wrote:In general: I'm quite disappointed that this thread, meant as a call for help, is once again misused for a discussion about 64-bit.
Only a really stupid or a really arrogant guy could have overlooked the prior statement. But I took care that it is absolutely clear, by explicitly requesting "Don't post if not willing to do the marketing." Of course, ignored.tulamide wrote:Please refrain from posting here, if I got on your nerves or if there's "64 bit" in your mind. Just post here, if you want to offer your help.
I even quoted Martin, to make sure there is no misunderstanding at all. Still, ignored.tulamide wrote:martinvicanek wrote:That being said, we would still need some voluteers to do the marketing fuzz.
And you play the innocent child?
And that's just you, not quoting other contributions in the same direction!Perfect Human Interface through two posts wrote:...the lack of 64 bit...possible to get a non-zero amount of sales with a 32 bit plugin...cross-platform and 64 bit...plugin in 64 bit compatible format...not likely to get that with a 32 bit product...So let's propose some concrete promises: 64 bit support Cross-platform support...
An I won't even quote your total destruction of this thread by suddenly talking about Malc and that he has to be involved, and about a crowdfunding campaign and blabla. Those might be valid ideas, but have nothing to do with this thread. Nothing! Post them in your own topic, or put them in the several 64-bit topics that already exist.
Don't answer here! If you can't resist to answer, create another thread ("tulamide's so stubborn", or whatever) or write an email to Malc, or write in one of the many 64-bit threads - but don't answer here.
Everyone out there: If you want to actively help with marketing, post a simple "Yes" here, and we'll contact you.
If any of the next posts don't contain a simple "Yes" and nothing else, I will shoot myself in the head.

Re: Calling all plugin publishers!
And again, the original poster is blamed for what others do wrong!
This shows you haven't even understood what this thread is about. Take yourself as an example. You don't want to do the marketing. This topic asks for people who do want to do the marketing. So why are you posting here? And banning people from speaking is an absolute no go and doesn't help in any way to get closer to the goal!
It is not up to you to say what's valid or not in this thread. It's up to me! Because I am the original author of this topic. I asked for help. Nobody wants to help. That's ok (and somewhat expected). Any discussion is not ok. Answer the question or don't answer at all. Is it really so hard to understand?
I will now talk to Exo to instantly close this thread, as it leads to nowhere, is overrun by people with a great lust of talking and talking and talking, without any will to actually do something.
