Re: Admin!!
Thanks for the message Jay.
We do have measures in place to stop bots but I don't think this was a bot. All the posts were from one user. Unfortunately if someone registers in the normal way then we can't stop them. All we can do is sweep up afterwards.
We have been getting a few every now and again - most times we've spotted them and neutralised them This one slipped through though.
Appreciate you letting us know though.

Re: Admin!!
No worries!
They are a nuisance at best for us users these spam bots, but i guess they are a pure pain in the ass for you guys when you could be busy giving support or developing!
I thought this bot to be particularly cheeky, in that it liked our off topic area because it could be as random and off topic as it wanted! ha ha, and it seemed quite enamored by your company name! ooh DSP Robotics you have a girl friend!
wouldn't be so bad if they spammed us some nice music tech or even some cool music! but Viagra and whatever those other strange and exotic pharmaceuticals were! pffwt not that far gone yet botty bot!
hey you guys should create forum mods like you did at the other place! you know, get some of the more longstanding and trusted folk with the necessary skills to help out, leaving you guys to utilize your time on the important stuff! = just an idea!
Best Regards
right I'm half drunk so I'm off for another wee dram!

Already volunteered! I totally miss being able to zap the spammers like I can over at the 'other place' - revenge is so sweet!
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!
