Real Mid Side and - Phase - converting to stereo?

So, with primitives or code. By emulating what dozius had done (or others) in a similar fashion it is able to create a close facsimile of mid and side. Mono as well as left and a copy of the left with negative phase (-1) so as to sound like it is from the right.

But it's not real mid side as Alan Blumlein created/envisioned which is the common type to use, however I like the close facsimile, it sounds nice. But, it's not as perfect sounding.

This is a nearly perfect demonstration of Alan Blumlein's invention of Mid and side from the 1930's:

So, this allows for a very real mid side. If you wished to make a hybrid which more effectively incorporated stereo width as an audible phenomenon, you could merely add in a small amount of the real right to the right channel.

But side is made with a left/right, left primarily that is out of phase.

Yet, if You were to use this effect in a chain it causes that signal to go out of phase (-1) how to avoid phase so that it can be used in stereo? I've done it in the past, but it requires every further change to the right to also be in negative phase. Instead of add, subtract and so on.

Is there a way to flatten the channel so that it is in phase again? I'm open to a "trick"
