When you run a plugin or exe made in flowstone, it copies a DLL file contained with in it to youe app data folder. So if for some reason that data folder does not allow files to be copied, then you have problems. It seems that this may be the cause of what you reported..

If the hard disks for all 4 PCs are cloned (so nothing is different between them) then that is indeed very puzzling. Can't think why there would be an issue. Memory shouldn't be a problem. The error message you're getting happens when the software can't locate the dll.

You could try putting the dll in the same folder as the exe or copying it to the system folder. The dll is in the FS install folder if you need to find it.

You would have to intentionally change the permissions on the AppData folder to prevent files from copying - maybe that's what VPDannyMan meant when he said "for some reason that data folder does not allow files to be copied". AppData is for app data after all and so it's not a good idea to make it unwriteable. That said, if the HDDs are cloned then folder access should be the same on all 4 machines.

Yes, I have ran across that a few times in the past. I'm pretty sure an application does this by itself. Perhaps some security app, or it may be some deep nested app in windows itself? I have no idea what it is, we have never been able to trace its source. If I ever find out, and remember, I'll let you know.

Hi all,
i don't make a new test because the PC are on use on a art installation. It's possible for me to make a new test in two week. I return to you after this time.
Thanks for all and long life to Flowstone.
