Thanks for trying though bill, i'm somewhat stuck on FlowStone 3.0.9 BETA1 as i'm not eligible for beta 2 from when i bought Flowstone... And because i started my project (its big and messy) in this version when i try and load it in older versions it wont work.. so i guess i'm stuck with it.

@Spogg, unfortunately i can't open your Schematic as your version is newer, however, Adam is indeed correct, the behaviour i'm after is as he suspects and the behaviour i get is not in keeping with lets say "serum" or any other VSTi with this type of ~"knob modulation".

I appreciate all the help from you guys, its good to see this forum still has visitors and people are still using FS.

@Adam, i'm guessing this new max-to-poly as a primitive will not be usable in FlowStone 3.0.9 BETA1?

Have you tried exporting as vst yet ? 3.09 has all kinds of problems for me , even on the simplest stuff.
Check if it leaks memory as an exported vst .

I have exported it as a vst a few times for testing.. it seems o.k asides from some cpu spikes here and there.. but they could be attributed to the way i "stick" my projects together. i did not think to look for a mem leak though so will test that out asap.. Thanks for letting me know that issue.

The 3.0.9 betas that you guys have access to are kind of old, and there are lots of new (private) betas or alphas i dont know what state it is in. But hopefully those new betas will be released soon and you can all try out my method which i suggested.
