Its been a while, so I just wanted to see if there is any news on this. I'm not trying to be pushy, its just that I am eagerly awaiting what the fix will be..

I mentioned this on another thread you posted on but I better post here too as this was where it started.
We have been looking into ways of doing this better. After alot of headaches we have seen some progress and managed to get it to statically link. However, Ruby isn't working correctly when we do this so there is some more work to be done. It's taking a while but we're having to work on this in parallel with other things.
Sorry - we are going as fast as we can. Unfortunately with things like this you can be bashing your head against a wall for weeks and get nowhere.

Honestly, don't rush, and certainly do not let this give you any stress. Stress is bad for everyone and although we had a few rough times recently, (due to misunderstandings) just know that we are solidly in your corner.
I would much rather see a stable, solid, Ruby enhanced version of FS than anything else, I believe this is it's future.
64 bit support to me is equally as important.
