Filter Question
Hello gang,
What would be the best filter in your opion out of all are filters to use for sustained ringing when excited with a sharp pulse? That is a filter sent at high Q, so when shocked it rings(bell/drum tones). Also what would be the best method to shock it from midi, gate, trigger, or something else.
Thanks in advance to all that respond, BobF.....
P.S., I have tried a few filters so far, but am not as yet satisfied and both the gate and trigger have performed very poorly.

Re: Filter Question
Have you tried a bandpass filter? Q = 100 to 1000, depending on how long you want it to ring. Regarding excitation, a noise burst is a popular choice.
