"FFT Display" editable with Ruby just like "Meter - dB" is
There are three components in Synthmaker, that I can't find anymore in Flowstone components palette.
Even after installing the audiopack, dsppack and roboticspack.
And I am a registered, paying user.
- Wave Display - (displays a graph of an array of points)
- FFT Display - (displays the FFT for an array of values)
- FFT Display (logged) - (displays the logged FFT for a signal)
Luckily, we still can use them in Flowstone, retrieving an old Synthmaker schema that's containing them, opening it with Flowstone, and saving it as .fsm file.
Luckily, the Flowstone "Meter - dB" component is already there, in the Flowstone components palette, in editable form. Opening it, one can realize the effectiveness of Ruby. Especially in the "Ballistics", "MinMax", "Meter" and "Gauge" departments. This is excellent pedagogy.
Realizing the advantages of Ruby, I feel time has come for a Flowstone ** displaypack ** containing Display components relying on ruby, in editable form :
- Meter - dB Display (possibly augmented, compared to the one that's already in the Flowstone components palette)
- Wave Display
- Scope Display
- FFT Display
- FFT Display (logged)
Any reply much appreciated.
