FS 3.03 kontra 3.02 !
In this forum there have been writing quit a lot regarding a "strange CPU Load error" on the latest FS 3.03 version.
Fx. if you make a .exe standalone program of a FS module that are empty it will result in a CPU load on about 50%..
This means that it is quit impossible to make any .exe programs for real !!
The same "empty" program in FS 3.02 works fine. It do not effect the CPU load at all.
ALSO. The FS 3.03 .exe file is 6.734 KB where it in FS 3.02 only is 2.734 KB. ? How can that be ?
I think DSP robotics should admit this big error in version 3.03 and redraw it from the download area.. Or at least make a statement regarding this problem.
Personaly I am working on a professionel projekt based on FS. And have been using LOTS of time wondering whey my FS app suddently was using way more CPU load than normal.. !'
I stil love working in FS and have no plans converting.. Now i have reinstalled version 3.02 and hope i can make the program running on this version again..
Peace and Love from Denmark

Re: FS 3.03 kontra 3.02 !
CPU issue will be fixed with the next update, and if there is a delay on that update vs support ending - I would advice to contact devs on that via e-mail. Info on what is fixed will be in version history I guess, so they will "admit" so to speak.
As for file sizes - I did not noticed that. Maybe you saved some array or wave or other file or buffer inside your project. All my projects are similar in size between versions. VST plugins can be different due to different ruby integration.

Re: FS 3.03 kontra 3.02 !
One more thing just came to my mind. In FS303 - there is a new option when exporting: "compression". If exported exe is uncompressed - it will be larger, like you describe. Exporting uncompressed exe's was added due to un-documented compatibility reasons.
From the past I remember, that some antivirus programs (or at some point of updates) - perceived compression used by SM (thus - FS) as a threat, and simply blocked SM apps (or hanged on scanning). Maybe this was the reason to add "uncompressed mode".
