Disk streaming feature on the new 3.0.9 release

Can anyone (maybe support) confirm that this feature works correctly in the new beta release?
I need to know if the "audio stream" and "video stream" can stream media straight from the disk or they are yet loaded into the memory?
Is the internet stream feature has been fixed and can stream media according to the supplied link correctly?
