Oscillator question
Ok, I have a dumb question. Is there a way to run one oscillator manually with a frequency knob, then when needed switch it over to midi control? I tried a selector primitive but it just takes over what ever is connected to it first. If manual control, blue takes over the whole, if I connect midi first white takes over. In any case nothing works at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Later then, BobF.....

Hi Bob
Your question raises more questions but, if I understood correctly, the schematic here may help.
You need MIDI to be playing a note and also an envelope prim inside an ADSR to open the white poly channel and the selector cannot choose between 2 different types of signal I believe. When you connect to the output of a selector prim it determines the signal type and your stuck with it!
You'll see the simple way to get around this, in the schematic, with my Float to Poly module. In addition there's a little module I use to create a note on/off MIDI control.
Hope this helps!
Cheers

Thanks Spogg,
It's a perfect solution. Sometimes I wonder why I struggle with these things so long. Such a simple solution, must be my old age creeping in.
Many thanks again!
Take care, BobF.....
