The Quilcom Ringer: Polyphonic MIDI filter for any audio

Hi ‘stoners!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ga20j055vtcwu ... m.zip?dl=0

This one’s a MIDI-controlled polyphonic filter for processing a mono or stereo audio input.
This means you can play a filter bank polyphonically and musically with your keyboard and use any audio source.

I’ve created a short MP3 demo to give some ideas of sonic possibilities, since it may not be obvious what can be done with such a thing. The MP3 is a series of sections, the first part of each being dry followed by the sound when processed by the Ringer.

The download includes the FSM, the demo WAVs, presets, the MP3 and a user guide. The VST plugin is on http://www.flowstoners.com under Quilcom.

I’m always indebted to Martin Vicanek for the many optimised and specialised modules he has made to help me and others produce high performance results. The Quilcom Ringer uses his state variable filter, ADSR and ASM clipper he made for me for different projects. So a very big THANK YOU to Martin!

Any feedback of any type will be treasured!

Cheers

Hi Spogg,

This is really great, I love it! I feed it a slow pulse and got some really cool Marimba, Xylophone, and even some steel drum sounds. With voice, you can do some great robots, monsters, choirs, and etc.. Also drum patterns can be made to sound like Rototoms.

Like always Spogg a really fine job, nice layout, easy to use, and really cool sounds.

Much enjoyed playing with this!

Take care, BobF.....

Hey thanks Bob! I really appreciate your feedback.

I'd love to hear a bit of what you've done with it, and any new presets, only if you have time. It might be inspiring!

Cheers
