Drum machine/Sampler/Multisynth

Postby billv » Wed Apr 10, 2013 11:11 am

This is the old Drum machine I built in in SM.
Re-built with Ruby timing and matrix triggers.
The timer has got multiple Midi ins/outs-
my first go at this type, so I'll call it Seq System 3.
2 Synths +6 track sampler. Small 3-piece band.

Yeh, it's been sitting there for a few years now I think-just don't know what to do with it.
I wanted to "X11" it, but the way the sampler is built, they miss most the Modulation action-
no pre-amp, PM, X, Octave, osc, ect , so the idea always falls a bit flat...
The latest idea I've had for it, is to not focus so much on the sampler, but the two synths attached.
Idea is to create 2 Mini X11 synths, and pan them for stereo fun, with sampler keeping the beat .
I did this "stereo channel" thing once with great results, in the X3 Reduction synth.
Got some cool sounds out of it.
