Hmm - can't think what the difference might be - I double-checked the schem; it's definitely set to 15Hz and Q 1.0. Maybe the Massy is emulating some lo end transformer saturation effects?

I don't see any transformer saturation ... but I'll be doing more testing later today to check.
I went to the site you posted, and they talked about adding a 100hz Shelf [6dB/Oct] ... so I added that to my configuration to try later today.
BTW ... that was sneaky using the Labels as a mute switch. nice idea for keeping the GUI clean.
thx

Re: New project idea
Well ... using this latest version in a Reaper project ... ran into a major issue
The project has 12 songs on it [12 tracks], and I had Viola on each track.
What happened ... some of the plugin would not open on the earlier tracks ... not show a GUI.
I ended up replacing VIOLA ... had to do some saving ... and then later on, reopened the project.
I was surprised to see some of those early in the project Viola inserts now were opening with settings.
Not taking a chance, I replace those ... still several more to do.
Anyway ... something not right.
Something I want to check is the PreSet Manager [export a Text file] and see if all is good there [no dups, etc].
Anyway, just wanted to report on this.

Re: New project idea
Here's another EQ goody based a rare, storied hardware unit, the Focusrite ISA 110. It was commissioned from Rubert Neve by George Martin for his new Air Studios (full story in attached Sound On Sound article).
The 110 also included a mic preamp, which I've obviously left out of the plugin.
The input Hi and Lo pass filters are 18dB/oct.
I'm not a fan of candy-colored gear, so I did it up in the same GUI style as the vintage Decca unit posted earlier.

Re: New project idea
For those whom a vertical GUI better fits their DAW workspace, here's a vert version, laid out like the original 110s that were in the AIr Studios desk:

Look nice k_brown ...
but I wonder, on the Vertical layout, if the Low/Hi Shelf graphics are backward ?!?

Re: New project idea
Oops, nope - the graphics are right, but the Fr controls were backwards/in the wrong place.
Replaced in previous post, also.
