Linear Phase Parametric Equalizer

Postby martinvicanek » Thu Apr 02, 2020 11:57 am

Hi gang, the past few days I had some fun designing this linear phase equalizer. The goal was to achieve, besides linear phase, minimum latency and good CPU performance. I'll spare you the details, but it was tougher than I had thought.
I am posting a mono version with 4 bands. Extension to stereo is trivial, more bands would not be hard either.
Not sure if liner phase is worth the extra hassle. Does it sound better than any ole' minimum phase EQ?
