Re: Venus String machine version 2
Halon,
This is amazing work, very smooth, very functional, great sound, nice look and the buttons and sliders reminds me a little of a well known synth from the 80's: the roland jupiter 8. Well done and thanks for sharing!

Re: Venus String machine version 2
I really like this. It’s simple to operate without needing a user guide and it looks great.
I also like the idea of mixing the different timbres and having some control for each one.
What surprised me is having to go inside the schematic to check out the presets. I know that you can access them in a DAW though.
One thing you could do to reduce CPU (which is actually not so high) is turn off the stream (using a selector) for any voices that have their volume set to zero.
Very well done and thank you for sharing your work.
Cheers

Very ambitious, well executed project - I'd been thinking about doing something ARP Omni-like; you beat me to it!
Bravo.

Thank you Kevin. Its not exactly inspired by any specific string synth though. But thanks anyway

No, I know - I just meant an ensemble-type instrument like the Omni.

If/when you decide to make no more changes, I would like to put it on the flowstoners website under Flowmates, but only if you want.
Cheers
