View bug??
Is there a secret view bug which randomly blurs bitmaps???
I have experienced this for years (kinda like my heart burn) which I ignore every time. .. no more!
The weird thing happens at least once a week for me. I create a sweet knob / button in knobmaker, all shiny and good looking, for me to load it up in a knob module and its blurry or out of focus. Wtf? I cant seem to troubleshoot it as its random (so it seems). One knob loaded is fine, then all the rest are blurry....
Please, does anyone know more info in this?
Ive searched Sm forums and maybe im not using the correct search terms but only little mentions of it. nothing substantial ( cue someone to post a link to a detailed SM forum topic about this )
But any help would be appreciated, it seems like i'm the only one?!

Re: View bug??
Let me add that the bitmaps look fine when viewed one level into a module . . . . let me explain:
create a new module, add a stock knob inside it. On the TOP level GUI view its blurred, but go into the module and the knob looks fine. Its just the "main" view that seems blurred. . .

Re: View bug??
1) Scalling and rotating things may get them blurry.
2) Try to use smooth primitive set to false on bitmap gui part.

Re: View bug??
Thanks tester, I have not scaled / rotated the bitmaps and used the smooth prim set to false/ Still no luck
Why does it appear fine and sharp below the main module view? Ie. the front panel of the synth is blurry but as I click inside it the bitmaps are sharp then?

Make sure it is at the default zoom level by click the middle mouse button/wheel if you haven't already. Some times the slightest bit off can cause a bit of blurring.

Re: View bug??
This is it one level deep into the whole project:
Looks fine, no issues
Now on the front panel it looks like this:
very blurry!
See the difference?
I have made sure I reset the view zoom (Home button) to no avail

Re: View bug??
Ive seen this happen before but with other strange outcomes, like the tops / sides of knobs being cut off ever so slightly. Like 3 pixels or so. . .
So how come some of my other knobs are fine, but some arent. Then also, why does it render fine on the view of the actual knob module, but then on the front panel/gui of the "master" module (the BIIG one that all other fits into) it is blurry???

Re: View bug??
Does it still look blurry if you disable the black background?
For real help with this I suggest you share a module showing this behavior (doesn't have to be whole project) so we can see exactly what is going on or you could just contact support with an example and explain the problem like you just have.
