I just re-downloaded your midi player fsm, but it's crashing on load in 3.05. can't open.
Is there an afterload pushing red into ruby somewhere...?

I don't think so. The Midi player causes some crashs, but they aren't reproducable. It just happens from time to time. Malc knows this problem, but he can't find the reason for the crashs because they happen just too sporadical. Somehow your system for some reason is a bit more affected than others, so it just happens for you earlier. eg. I can load and run the midi player schematic, it only crashs after playing some other songs (bigger).

I think your midi watch crash, is caused by the same bug that the midi player has. So it would be great to get Malc on this... that way I could finally use the Midi-Player. I stopped working on it, because of this instability.

I can't open it - it crashes here too. XP SP3, C2D, FS305, dbclick on schematic. There is some memory error message as well when it crashes.
Need to take a break? I have something right for you.

1st Time: Instant crash with pop up window for option to debug in Visual Studio.
2nd Time: I get a safe start option...I'm in the schematic, but there's nothing there.
3rd Time : Same as 1st time
4rd Time : Same as 2st time

repeat over and over.

Got to run to work....
might reinstall 3.04 in my laptop and see if can get in to midi player fsm later...

It has something to do with processing power or maybe even the OS. On my system (Win8, 8 x 4GHz) the test schematic works without any problems, all the time. I expected it to crash on billv's system, though. I've to try this on my older systems...

Not good...its starting to sound like it's XP related.
If it is...would malc bother to fix as support for XP
is disappearing everwhere..??
Hopefully this wont be the case, as Myco said things
are still unstable on newer OS.

On another note...my subscription runs out in Feb.
If theres no update in that time, does this mean
ive paid $150 for a 'lemon'...? ( sorry if that's mean)
Interesring scenario .....

I Went back to 3.04 and got Midi player fsm open.
Deleted Trogs midi analiser and 4 small piece's of 'red to ruby' in each vsti ( the status code)
Saved and brought it over to 3.05. All good. I'm in.

PS:
I find Visual studio debug annoying, because i don't understand it fully.
i wish i could confirm that the presence of Visual studio is not a contributing factor somehow.. :?

that's all i got.. (XP...red to ruby...3.05...)....every single time..

Hey..Trog's on XP...where are you at Trog.?..got a spare 2 cents worth to throw on the table..?
