Everyone is just asking questions and no one tells what they realy is doing. Would be fun if some one post what they r doing like screen shots and more. Will be more intresting for others to help to i think.

I've gone for another detour...and been trying to build a decent Poker game
for the last 4 weeks or so...Going Ok...still lots of work to do...but enjoying every minute of it. :D
Your up against 8 players, you each start with 1 million cash, with the goal to make 10 million.

Here's a prototype, of where the project stands ATM if anyone wants to have a go...
It's functional and playable, player data is autosaved/loaded so you can continue where you left off.
But still very way off finished.

PS>
Creating the AI for the players, has been real fun..but i had a better idea...
What if different people wrote their own AI..!!!, and we can then create a game called
FS Poker, Player 1 trog, Player 2 exo....blah blah...
And is not limited to eight players...I could put the AI's on a selecter If more than 8 people
want to be in it, and the user can then choose...
Imagine playing against 8 Trogs!!!!

I am working on too many things how much time you got? ;)

I have a sample player called "Poly Slicer" in the works....
PolyslicerCrop.jpg

This includes zooming into the waveform right down to the sample level with a nifty scroll zoom bar (works same as Edision in FL Studio).
Auto slicing of the sample and each slice is automatically assigned a key on the keyboard so you can play the slices back polyphonically , hence the name ;)
Loads MP3 also

I have a few things in the laboratory too... (RnD status)

64bit wrapper. (Not much done on this at all)
Load and save loop points to a wav file.
A high quality wavetable oscillator (4096 sample points) that loads in about a second and uses less CPU than the stock wavetable read.
Disk streaming for wavefiles (might not be possible at least for poly, still trying some workarounds)
dll component for the poly stream (again might not be possible)

Trog and I was also going to work together on a proper GUI toolkit for Ruby called FRUIT but he seems to have disappeared of the edge of the earth, you there Trog??

And of course I'm also working on content for Flowstone Guru. And also doing some work for a forum member.

So I think I need to start getting some of this finished it is getting out of hand
Flowstone Guru. Blog and download site for Flowstone.
Best VST Plugins. Initial Audio.

Billv: wow, awesome! Quite complex imo. Not sure if I will be able to mod it and include points (to represent float).
Thanks!

Yes, thats what it needs. Module would be much more useful for all. Disappointing without.
I thought about it during last update, but it gave me a headache trying to
work out how, so I moved on. Will take another look at it sometime.
I'd like to build one that takes letters as well.....so we can input any type of value...
I know i'd probably have to start with a 'dot' matrix..but thats as far as I can see ATM :?
Another good 'rainy day' detour... :)
