Why FlowStone be late in FL?
The same (more or less, I've manually tuned the two Sytrus) sine wave, one without any link, one trough a FlowStone app that just take MIDI in and output them:
you can hear a huge delay in the FlowStone one. Is it normal? Can't deal with those delay? I need to get MIDI and manage them (here I does nothing, just midi in/out, and it is already out of sync).
Those delays are pretty huge. SynthEdit for example process IN/OUT without any delay.
Where am i Wrong? Or just FS require too much memory and can't work in real time?

Re: Why FlowStone be late in FL?
Really? Yes I've the same latest version of FL.
There are two sine waves, one without any flowstone, one with it.
The first go in the Mixer channel 1, the second in the channel 2.
On this last I've set Invert Phase in the Mixer; so when playing together, they delete each other (and in fact, without flowstone, it does).
But with flowstone, the second sine is delayed. Here the mixer screen:
You don't get this?

Re: Why FlowStone be late in FL?
it also can be a volume issue then, or?
i did some tests on playstart, few weeks ago because there is an issue that cubase starts playing later then FS vsts, but there was no problem with FL studio...
her is the thread, use the latest posted ticktest for it and you will see that FL studio starts at the exactly same time as the vst with no delay

Uhm, nope! I've "calibrate" them to play the same. But at least, watch the Mixer analisys: you can clearly see the retard...

Re: Why FlowStone be late in FL?
Sorry, but not sure what I should do with your suggestions :O
The problem is not the Playstart on FL I guess, but when it outputs MIDI messages out of FS plugin (which goes to the instrument in Patcher, later).

Re: Why FlowStone be late in FL?
it proofs if the daw and the vst are delayed, if so it shows the delay in ms, so it should show 0ms. just take care to do the test right, i don't know FL very well because i don't use it, i also have no demo installed atm so i can't help much more as to proof if midi ins from the FL seq starts at the same time as the ticker starts which should be 0 ms delay

Re: Why FlowStone be late in FL?
But where should I place that ruby code? Before Midi In? Between Midi In and Out? After Midi Out?
The correct test would be after midi out in FL, dunno if that's possible

Re: Why FlowStone be late in FL?
to test it export it as vst instrument load it in your DAW and write a bar with 4 quater notes set the songposition to 0 and press play, note count and ticker should be in sync now (0ms delay)
