Wireless Issues

Postby aronb » Tue Dec 29, 2020 12:13 am

Hi,

What would cause a working Wireless Connection to stop working? :?

I have tried unconnecting it, reconnecting it, deleting it, redoing it - still will not work now :(

What is the PROPER Method to use a wireless connector?

Thanks,

Aron

UPDATE:

Ok, I made sure to make each connector type the same (Stream), and it works... So I am guessing you need to make each connector type the same, and not have Flowstone choose the connector type - which is different than regular connectors - does this sound correct? :?:

Thanks,

Aron

Yes, you've got it - the name and the connector type both have to match. I've made it a habit to select the connector type for a wireless connector before I even link it to anything - that way, I know that FlowStone won't mess up the connection by changing the type when I'm editing or loading a saved schematic.
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!

Yay!

Thanks Trog... :ugeek:

I don't use them often, but now I may do a bit more wireless stuff (I get too many wires at times) , and now I finally have a proper use case :D
Continually learning!
