Problem with presets.
Lets say if i made a synth. And added another module. Is it possible to make so this module will start on 0. So it wont affect the made presets? So when changing presets in the preset manager. it will be on 0 everytime untill u add some level.

Re: Problem with presets.
The preset system in FS is very flexible and, importantly, expandable.
If you add a new module (with unique preset names for the items inside) then load an existing preset the newly added module will not be affected. This is because the preset parameters in the txt file will not address the new module yet.
When you then save any preset, with the new module added, the preset parameters for the new module will be included in the preset.
If you want the presets to 'stick' to the project you need to press the Save button in the Preset Manager's property page AND save the schematic.
In the same way, you can delete a module and still successfully load an old preset. The Manager will simply ignore any references to the deleted module and address what it can find.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Re: Problem with presets.
Oh I see!
In that case just locate the "Preset" Tick box in the 'p' parameter view and un-tick it. If there's no tick box go inside and locate the Preset Parameter prim and set it's 'Preset' input to False. Then the presets won't affect or be affected.
This can be useful for example for not saving the overall volume knob settings so it can be set once and won't change with any preset changes.
I hope I got it right for you this time!

Re: Problem with presets.
WoW thank you realy pro! Ah sry.
I dident see. I mean I want it to be enable. But like resetted. So when i change the presets it wont change from 0 to example 1. I want it to be a 0 value. Untill u edit the value. Just like adding an extra thing to synth without affecting presets.
So for example if i chose presets 01 Bass and then goes to 02 bass. It should be at 0. But if i change from 0 to 0.5 or something. Then it should be 0.5 next time i open that preset.
Pretty hard to explain. But i hope u got what i mean.

Re: Problem with presets.
Sorry! Now I'm confused
If you want the value to change to what it was when you last selected the preset Bass 02 then it will have be stored in that preset. No other way that I know of. Maybe someone else can help on this one... ?
Cheers

Re: Problem with presets.
Its just that i wana add PWM to my synth. And when i changing presets the PWM knob changes all time. Even if i set it to 0 when i imported the knob. So i need to change back pwm every presets. I want it to be 0 on all presets. Because i have none before. So if i add this i need to change back when it gives level on the pwm on every preset it does :S

Re: Problem with presets.
Usually the presets get messed up when you add a module with a preset name that already exists in your schematic. Each module must have a unique preset name, so remember to change the preset name each time you add a new module. If you are not sure which names you have used so far, store presets in a file and inspect that file with an editor.

Re: Problem with presets.
Ive had this problem before and its because the stock knobs in Flowstone have stored preset values in them. Open a new schematic, drag a knob there, rename it to something new, then go into the preset part and delete the "Param" module and insert a new one (this will be clean from any values) and connect everything back. Now copy and paste your knob into your project, and now there will be no more values assigned when you change presets, and it till stay at the default value that you set.
