Synthmaker Greatest Hits
Re: Synthmaker Greatest Hits
Well I’m done!
I’ve sifted through over 7000 files and it’s been a blast. I hope some of you have found at least one item useful and interesting and maybe picked up a few tricks and insights. I know I’m a bit wiser for the adventure myself.
I would like to thank everyone who has offered nice comments, encouragement and thanks over the last 4 months while I’ve been on this expedition. I must say it became quite addictive (“I’ll just look at one more…”) so I shall miss it.
If you’ve been waiting to see if I upload something you made or wanted to see there’ll be a good reason that I didn’t. There are many reasons like it may not have worked in FS or has been superseded by more recent similar stuff. Some items I had no idea what was going on and I guess you would need the whole topic’s original thread to make sense of those things.
However, as I went along I came across some stuff that looked interesting but was not in my scope for testing or assessing. Again, several reasons such as I have no guitar to tune, no MIDI controller with assignable knobs, no X-Box game pad and so on. In some cases I didn’t really know how to test and assess the schematic in question. So, I’ve zipped up these 87 files and linked below and if anyone feels inclined maybe they could have a look and upload to this topic with a brief explanation for the benefit of me and others.
Cheers

Re: Synthmaker Greatest Hits
Hello Gang,
Well I can not remember for the life of me where I found this, but it was an osm, so maybe the old Synthmaker forum?
I also do not know who created it, but it does again look like Martins work or maybe Troggs. Martin?
Any way it says its a high quality mono harmonizer (there spelling harmoniser). For me on my computer under Fl Studio it works, but clicks a lot. Maye needs a filter or whatever and I just guessed at the buffer size. I do think this is really cool though and could really be improved on and maybe expanded. I kind of have a very ruff idea on how this works, but would really like to hear a full explanation from someone much smarter than me. I know the pitch change comes from speeding up or down the delay but as for the rest of it I need some help.
Really smart people, could this be converted to a time stretcher in some way?
Well that's it. Enjoy!
Later then, BobF.....

Hi to all you lovely flowstoners!
I had a request to put all the files I uploaded into one big zip so newcomers to the topic won't have to download them all individually.
This is the link:

I've also put the link in the first post.
Cheers

Hello hardwarehost!
Thank you so much for sharing all this stuff with us.
I downloaded, extracted, and changed all the OSM file extensions to FSM. I've uploaded the complete zip to my Dropbox to make life just a little bit easier for the guys. I hope you don't mind. There's some cool stuff in there but I haven't tested any yet. Here's the link:

Once again, thanks for this!
Cheers
