Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
I want to modulate the amplitude of a Synth but I am running into a problem .
When I insert a VCA after the ADSR to modulate with a LFO , the depth of the LFO when at zero pulls down the volume to zero. What I would like to achieve is an LFO added to the adsr curve.
Also ...it seems that the LFO is polyphonic , while that might be cool for something I would need it to be Monophonic , applies to the total signal.
What am I overlooking?

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
convert the lfo into a blue stream, and it will be monophonic. then insert a mono to poly to add it to your adsr.

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
So rather then use a seperate VCA I should just hook up to the Vca in the Adsr ?
Should I use the combiner or the Poly to Mono ?
Neither one works actually .
I take the output of the lfo into a poly to mono or a combiner , I set a mono to poly into the Level input of the VCA in the adsr but that does not work .
A Poly to mono -Mono to poly into a vca with the output of the ADSR into the VCA does also not work.

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
I guess I am confused a bit for the fact that some modules dont run until connected somewhere , which is a bit counterintuitive

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
I got it working by pluggin the output into the ADSR VCA but I am still getting the poly behaviour.
Using a combiner to mono and then mono to poly does not work.

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
This is weird , almost like its retriggering the ADSR?
Kind of cool, not what i wanted though :Ð

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
You are still doing it wrong. Your lfo is still white, then you change it to blue, and white again. Connect the lfo directly to the mono to poly, so the lfo is blue, then you can connect it when its white.

Re: Amplitude Modulation Noob problem.
Is it possible to have a free running LFO ?
