Logic Gated Synth
Hello gang,
NOTE: I have replaced ver 1 with Ver 2 , it now includes a arpeggiator.
*** PLEASE note the updated version further down, about 8.
Well this is my first SYNTH, I hope you all like it and will make lots of comments. It is built around my Logic Gated VCA and was suggested that I build a synth around it by Spogg. Thanks Spogg, I think it came out pretty nice! I have added a procedure for its use (see rar file), and you can also view the schematic and play with the presets to see how it works. PLEASE since this is my first synth, tell me of any corrections if any, suggestions for improvement, mods you would like added, new presets and so on.
Many thanks and enjoy, BobF.....

Re: Logic Gated Synth
Very well done Bob!
This synth shows off what the technique is capable of in terms of the range of base sounds you can create. I can hear all sorts of possibilities for strings, brass etc. just by going through your presets. I was surprised by just how clean the sound is too.
It would be nice for you to create some more presets for this with different envelopes and so on, because there's so much potential here.
I have a few comments:
I checked for non-unique preset parameter names and there are duplicates at least for sync and LFO1.
The name label reads Synt not Synth: just open up the label size!
Some control labels are grey and some black. It would be nice to see consistency across the panel.
Thanks for sharing this Bob!
Cheers

Hello all,
Please gang, 22 downloads, how about some more comments. Someone other than just Spogg must have something to say.
Thanks, BobF.....

It's always the way Bob. Lots of downloads with not even a thank you, let alone some constructive feedback.
Anyways Bob, when this is finalised and you have some more presets, I would love to upload this to Flowstoners if you agree.
Cheers

Bob this is really nice, i like the presets you have done to show of its capabilities! it can do some real nice ethereal and glassy tones! nice one! way better than my first synth by a long shot! funny thing though i had to chop out the scope so that my toolbox would load and i could get midi in and asio out prims! i have noticed that happening a few times with that scope module .
like the synth though! keep on doing m8!
Best Regards

Re: Logic Gated Synth
hello bob, what a great thing?
do you export it with local toolbox? i cannot add or change any modules because my toolbox is not available..
anyways, this thing sounds great, need to study how you did all the things one day...
just a small thing, the clipper should always be the last module, just to get sure +-1 is the absolute max!

I get this sometimes. If this happens I open FS first, then open the fsm file.
Cheers
