Electric Metal Guitar
Hi! I create a 100% synthetic "heavy metal" distorted guitar. I use this http://www.dsprobotics.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4384&p=24808&hilit=karplus#p24808
for karplus synth and then I use this convolver http://www.dsprobotics.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5126&p=25827&hilit=convolver#p25827
to make the cabinet. The result is very realistic, check it out!

Re: Electric Metal Guitar
Hello Wassaka,
This come out very nice, great job! Like you said, very realistic. I really like the sound a lot. Hope to see a lot more from you in the future.
Do you know a good source for some more guitar wave files by any chance?
Take care, BobF.....

Re: Electric Metal Guitar
This is an absolutley fab module and I had great fun being a guitar hero!
When you're happy that it's finished in terms of GUI and function I would love to put the plugin on Flowstoners wesite, if you agree.
Now here's my wishlist:
A built-in reverb.
Output clipper to prevent soundcard issues.
Level meter(s) for output. Not essential since DAWs have them anyway but I like them on my plugins.
Cheers

Thanks Spogg! I will implement all of your ideas, but instead of reverb, a small room simulator (I think is better). Currently I am working on GUI. In a few days I will release the free-plugin and, I'm glad you put my plugin in flowstoners website!!

Re: Electric Metal Guitar
Hi guys!! I finally finish this project (under my company name: ParallelZone Audio), I will share it with all of you!! I worked hard to do the best I could, Firstable, I need to say that the plugin is UNRELEASED, so this means that is a BETA version, so, is not yet fully completed.
Overview:
- I need help creating the presets.
INFO: To change the preset name just click on File and then click on Edit Preset Name.
*Please comment on all your ideas and I will implement it in future versions.
In case it is very requested, I will put the schematic to download.
here is the dll:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6a6bpzmv1y7ecq4/PZ%20Guistar%20v1.1%20%5BSNAPSHOT%5D.zip?dl=0
Personal Comment: It works very well, with the ability to make a multitude of sounds, not only for heavy metal, you can create also Pads, Fx, Basses, Leads, Plucks... or even Acoustic Guitars
Overview:
- -16 high quality real Cabinet models,
- -10 Different Effects,
- - 92 Preset Capacity,
- - Fuzz: Original algorithm.

Re: Electric Metal Guitar
Was going to take a closer look, but I'm finding an RUBY error message:
and looks to be contained to the LEFT, RIGHT graphics.
[FlowStone 3.0.4]
v.drawBitmap @bitmap,[0,0,@bitmap.width,@bitmap.height]
and looks to be contained to the LEFT, RIGHT graphics.

Hi RJHollins, I used Flowstone 3.0.8 to make that project, please, can you pass me a screenshot on the error?.
In what module does the problem occur?
Tell me so I can help you
