Graphic acceleration

Postby lwaver » Thu Dec 27, 2012 1:33 am

hello!
Simple question, what graphics acceleration flowstone supports - Windows GDI or Direct2D or other?
because Unfortunately gdi is a fundamental limitation of SynthMaker !

Unfortunately only GDI +.
I was trying to use other libraries to ruby, like cuda or dx3,
but this limit (you can find in this post) unfortunately does not leave use open processes,
and therefore can not really truly expand the ruby on external libraries.
But the hope that this has changed, is very high. (At least we hope)

Long before Ruby was chosen for FlowStone, Synthmaker examples using Lua with OpenGL support were being tested, if I recall correctly.
@Devs: would Ruby with OpenGL support be a valid option for FlowStone :?: (also taking future Mac compatibility into account).

I think it would be a great achievement for FlowStone.
