Help with serious problem

Postby BobF » Sat Jun 03, 2017 3:09 pm

Hello gang,

I have a serious problem! All of a sudden the other day many of my older fsm's started giving me this error message " Attempted to access an unnamed file past it's end." and will not open via Fl Studio/Flowstone 3.08 or standalone Flowstone 3.09.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or what causes it?

Thanks in advance, BobF.....

This might be a registry issue.

Are you testing the new alphas on 32 bit or 64 bit Windows?

I ask because the registry switching files that MyCo provided are only valid for 64 bit. They reference
C:\Program Files (x86)
which is where the FS files are on a 64 bit system only.

Use Regedit and locate the Flowstone installation path (search for Flowstone and check the keys).

Also make sure you have the correct Ruby library installed for 3.081

Cheers

I think this was a problem with one of the alphas. If you saved the file with that alpha you have to download another alpha and resave it to remove that error. I dont remember which one it was though :(
