Thanks, Spogg. I'll come to play ASAP - though unfortunately, spring-cleaning my PC in readiness has resulted in a much, much quieter cooling fan at the expense of buggering up several other rather vital parts, so I have a little fettling to do (and some crawling around under my desk looking for a couple of very, very, teensy-weensy screws!)
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!

don't cha just hate when that happens.

I've been in the process of adding several new hard drives to my computer.

So far have received 2 defective WD Black drives.

Also needed the special 'anti-vibration' harddrive mounting screws for my Lian-Li case.
Not a single US distributor has any.
Been all over EBay too.

Finally found on on-line store that had what looked to be correct ... having already waited on a shipment
from China [took nearly 2 months] ... but were not the right part.

Now, the new parts just arrived ......... from Slovenia.
And they screwed up the shipping label ... so I got to watch the 'tracker' move the package around the US :|

I've been dealing with a long case of Vertigo, and have issue bending over to lift my computer case to work on.
Had to hire in a Tech [$100/per visit] to do this simple install.

Will likely have to do this again to replace another 'new' drive.

Vertigo SUCKS

After 16 years od dedicated service, my XP system has finaly been laid to rest.
I have upgraded my laptop and desktop, with win 10 and win 11 64-bit I also upgraded Reason
from 6.5 to Reason 12....a mind-blowing upgrade. Did the whole thing for under $1000.. :D
So you can all see the problem....all of a sudden FS is not compatible. :?
Can FS4 do 64 bit plugs??....should I get involved... I don't know in this state of confusion... :?

Yes, Fs4 alpha can create 32 bit and 64 bit plugins. My recently built PC is running Windows 11 and no problems with FS 3.06 or the alpha.

I pressed the Google drive link today...so I'm waiting on a email. In the meantime, I have a few questions.
Where does it install.. in the 32 bit or 64 bit Program files??
If it's 32 bit, can I run 3.06 at the same time or do I have to un-install it??

Edit:
Well I got the download. There's no installer, so I can't install.
Clicking the application thumbnail yields error. :?:

Hi Billv

FS-4 is currently a 'Portable' app.

Just EXTRACT it into it's native Folder [so that everything is in one place [folder].

To Launch ... use Flowstone-64.exe

The code execution cannot proceed because VCCMP1.DLL was not found.

Looks like one of the Visual C++ libraries...
Tried reinstalling https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 ?
