Re: Float array to array of points , Line editor.
Have sync ,can select for how many bars it "records" obviously with less resolution as I only have 64 points to work with , so now I can write an envelope into the line editor from an audio input , LFO or something from an envelope follower.
Have a glitch at the last value in the line editor due to using a multiplex which holds a value so I need to find a way to do this differently .
Its semi working , I was concerned about sync , ie getting a 2 bar loop to fit into the line editor workspace in sync, but that seems to be solved.
What I do is take the audio , mono to float ,divide those values into 32 possible line editor values , build an array with the 64 horizontal and 32 vertical , inserting the tension value and curve type ,plug that into the line editor and it builds the" line" copy of the audio in realtime.
Actually its nice to watch it write the envelope but for some reason I need to do 3-4 passes for it to stabilise , so I am doing something wrong here. Could be easier to build the array and then automatically paste it in , but then I could not see while it is writing .
Optimally I would be able to watch it write ,and only need one pass.
Working on it.
BTW : Is there anything that can send a trigger at certain values ?
I want to implement a way that when you hit "record envelope" it waits until the start of the line editor window , starts recording and then something to trigger stop on recording when it reaches the end
