Question
Hello gang,
When designing a Synth how does one eliminate intermodulation distortion, beating, and other mixing distortions. I have noticed as others have on a few of my Synth releases that if two or more notes are played there is a horrible distoration. On new designs I would really like to rid this.
Thanks, BobF.....

Re: Question
Intermodulation is a result of nonlinear response. Clipping is a frequent source of such evil. Do you have a specific example?

Re: Question
Hi Martin,
Thanks for the reply. I got messages it was in all my Synth releases. The "Wave Slider", "Non-linear Mod, and "Logic Gated" Synth's. I will definitely look into clipping. I never saw it on the scope though, but I will scope them in other area's till I find it.
Thanks again!
Till next time, BobF.....
