Quilcom WC: Version 2 with lots of modulation and more...
Hi guys!
This is version 2 of my Quilcom WC. The first version is here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9639
It was suggested that such a technique would lend itself well to extensive modulation options, so that’s the main focus of the update.
There are a few more additions, and a video just for the update is here:
https://youtu.be/SDAnca_9oXc
Making noises with modulation is not my forte, so I would welcome any comments or presets to show me what can be achieved. The 14 presets I provided are for showing the new features and are not intended to be “production-ready”; they are just for demo purposes.
You can get the whole thing, including a guide for the update, here:

Have fun!

Wow! I only saw the video yet, but it promises modulation heaven! This is really, really good. (When spreading the word, however, people don't even try it. They stop at the GUI. Everytime. It annoys me, because the graphics say nothing about the quality of the sound engine. On the other hand I understand, that they prefer clean, tidy, good-looking GUIs, when they use them for hours a day in production)

Thanks tulamide!
My dear friend Mick, now sadly deceased, once told me that the look of a GUI was the most important thing for people to get interested in the first place. So I agree of course. But it’s a shame!
Cheers

Hi Spogg !
I watched both videos, of course being 1/4 Welsh, the 'WC' inference is not lost on me !
Both machines are so involved, it could take months to really evaluate the possibilities.
Sadly enough, neither version will load on my machine with 3.0.7.
Who knows why ?
Looking at the presets, I can't figure out which scientist "INIT" is.
Since Nikola Tesla is not listed, I'll assume it's him incognito.
Numerous presets in the first video lend themselves to a "Switched On Bach" style of composition.
Fabulous pieces of machinery, as always, well done !

Hello Spogg,
Wow, this just keeps getting better. I played with it for about 45 minutes and think it's great. Need to speed many more hours on it. I really like the presets and the modulation capabilities are fantastic. You have really outdone yourself.
Super job, well done! Cheers, BobF.....

i agree with the GUI statements.. it does not justify how cool this synth really is. i love all the MOD options.. and polarity too.
