Hello gang,

Here is my latest crazy creation. It's 2 new modules. The first one is a timed select switch, plus a timed mux. The secound is a timed VCA. The times can be set from approximently 1 second to just over 1 minute. There are besides the push buttion start, an external trigger input and also a trigger output. As you can see I created a loop with one triggering the other. Of course there can be many other configurations and I am shure you can find them and also many uses for this device. One idea is to cascade them to make long chains with each at different times and so on. Also you can go inside the schematic and modify time for longer times and other mods of your own design..

Have fun and PLEASE any mods and uses, PLEASE post on the forum.

Later then, BobF.....

Thanks for sharing that Bob, interesting idea.

My first thought is about timing accuracy, since a lot happens in green. This will mean that, in a large schematic, green events and triggers will interfere with the timing accuracy, obviously more apparent at shorter times.

It might be worth making a DSP version too where timing would be rock solid. Plus I believe Ruby is pretty solid timing-wise (I know you don’t do Ruby yet, like me).

Cheers

Hi BobF !
Interesting use of multiplexing, etc.
Reminds me of my Amp turn on delay that I posted a while back, this is much more involved !
Nice piece of work, thanks for posting.
