Why FlowStone changed my life

Postby chackl » Wed Feb 06, 2013 3:41 pm

Well!

I just got some minutes to say:
Thank you!
to all members that helped me with FlowStone, that helped me with SynthMaker and last bast not least to the great guys on the upper Levels here, those guys that have developed this great software!

Well when i started 2007 with making VSTi in SynthMaker i was already very impressed. I was just on the 3rd year in my higher technical collage (mechanical engeneering) when we learned visual basic - together with visual basic and synthmaker i did things on my computers i never could imagine a computer is able to do.
In the 4th year i had to learn some things in LabView - and i did not realy like it ^^ - so i told to my teacher that there is something better - he did not give SynthMaker any note. So i did a trick on him when i arrived at the 5th year.
We had to do a final exam-project - Well and i had to calculate some things on heating-pipes and heating-plants - and to calculate those heavy arrays (some integration function) i used - SynthMaker - and summer 2010 i did my Final exam with a "software that was designed to create virtual instruments" :P - Everytime i say this to me i realy get a big smile :D

So end of 2010 - FlowStone was anounced :D - and i knew - this is THE thing i waited since 2007 - i think FlowStone was an absolut correct step in the right direction! - Also the fusion of FlowStone and SynthMaker was one of the best things i expected here!
Now i Use Flowstone at home every day to config my homeservers, send some MIDI over lan - everytime i support digital DJs i send the MIDI data through the internet to me at home go get a better workflow. this software is so powerfull! - i also suggested it to my company were i work now ;)

Oops quite a lon post ;)
Well i finaly have to say:
Thousands of Thank you guys - please keep on doing this great job!!!

Best regards
C.Hackl

Thanks from me too, I like this proggy a bundle.
The new timing modules are really something to me.
I spend more time at Flowstone tasks than anything else I do,
I feel it is creative,
and each puzzle solved satisfies me,
as IMO the utlities created are substantial.
I like the nature of having built it once,
u can have an infinite multiple.
So yeah- I think Robotics DSP is moving in the right direction too,
I hope to be making spaghetti when I'm 80 hehe

Chackl, I wanted to try to say something similar after reading ur post.
Hope u have many successes in DSP, and continue to enjoy Flowstone.
I have never studied mechanical engineering,
but I have practiced it, so we have that in common too.
