Flowstone for Mac Lion 10.7.x
Will there ever be support for Mac for Flowstone ?
I switched to Mac in 2011 when modeling molecule structures at U.C.S.D.
I love what you have done, and would like to convert my spybot robot to flowstone.

Re: Flowstone for Mac Lion 10.7.x
I have heard they may.
It will be a long time in the future however,
if they do.
64-bit for Windows is planned first.
I assume porting to Mac would be an immense task.
However,
if you don't mind configuring your Mac to work,
it may be possible to run the Windows program on it.
I have the SynthMaker interface on my Mac,
I can't recall how functional it is though.
Certainly Wine ASIO uses a lot of CPU,
but this mightn't be applicable to you,
since perhaps you don't need audio streams.
The applications required are Crossover and Wine.
If u r interested, I will try and install FS,
and see if I can get it up.
Another key component is GDI for graphics.
hmm

Really? this is an actual plan with a time table?

More like a sarcastic joke; none of the devs have any OSX experience. They'd have to hire another programmer who'd be willing to work for minimum wage to re-write 80% of the program for MACs.VPDannyMan wrote:Really? this is an actual plan with a time table?infuzion wrote:ETA: 2-10 years

By that time it might be that iOS will the the operating system for Macs as well (rumors of Apple moving to ARM CPUs):

Summery: Don't ever expect Flowstone on Macs. Please get over it. If it comes, think of it as a miracle gift.
Need OSX support now? Use Max/MSP.

Can you post the program file? I'm looking into doing a similar concept with a Wii-Remote as the sensor but i'm not sure I fully understand the processing behind it.
