Saturn - A 6 voice Polysynth (updated)

Postby Halon » Sun Jun 09, 2019 10:05 am

Here is something ive been working on lately, and i would say its finished. Its 6 voice poly synth. 6 voices might seem like a restriction, and i do agree, but i mainly thought of CPU usage. You can always increase the number of voices yourself. Feel free to dive in or make it your own, but please leave a reply or just say 'thanks'. ;)

EDIT:

Uploaded new version with 16 voices instead of 6 and the ability to change colors from the original black color, red and blue(ish)

I just had a quick play with this and I love it! :D

The presets are great and varied and the GUI looks fab. I’ve not yet had time to explore it in any depth as yet, but I will.

If you agree, I’d like to put this on the Flowstoners site, assuming you declare it finished. Of course you may have commercial prospects in mind, so just let me know.

I didn’t find the CPU too high on my system and you could easily take it up from 6 to 8 voices with no extra CPU.

Thank you for sharing this.

Cheers

I uploaded a new version with 8 voices. Btw, it should have a midi channel i suppose so you could send an arp to one eg. 16 and a sequencer to another with a different channel. Hope you know what i mean.

I’ll play with it properly a bit first and have a good look inside, and then I’ll get back to you before I upload it, in the next few days (busy at the moment!).

Cheers

It sounds wonderful, Halon. Nice job :) I was able to create with it's delay some crazy sounds :D Its just the GUI is a little eyes tiring. Dark knobs on dark backgroung with quite small text is not a very eyes friendly in my opinion. Other than that, I loved how it sounds very much.

Thanks kortezzzz. Glad you like it :)

Yes the dark background with the Black knobs are indeed a little eye tiring. I could always add an option to change the color
