Man this has been bad ... I've refrained from posting anything new till this gets resolved ... heck, it'd probably get lost in the spam mess :roll:

why wont admin just apply a decent capatcha and be done with it? i mean it takes all of 5 mins to activate it from within phpBB! well Admin? :?

Administration Control Panel > General tab > Spambot countermeasures > Installed plugins > happiness!

...spambots started to send private messages now here at the flowstone forum, at least i got one. the subject was "hallo" (hey what a friendly bot, he´s greating me in my native language!) and the content of the mail was the usual bla bla bla with a link that suggests to be a amazon link, but of course it´s not.
